Ideas United launches Infinite Deviation

LSU’s Center for Computation and Technology & the Digital Media Arts & Engineering program were demonstrating what the state of Louisiana is doing in Virtual Reality. We joined Cox CommunicationsSmart Home” on Birdsong Drive in Baton Rouge. We took over a room and turned it into a room-scale VR space that is the envy of many gamers.

Leah Haight Wins Pitch Night

Louisiana State University

Leah Haight has been working on a mobile app for building custom dolls that promote a positive body image and embraces customization. Since she started in the DMAE program this has been her focus of development. Building a business from scratch is a difficult venture and she has fearlessly embraced this adventure. We congratulate Leah in her successes big and small and wish her luck with building a new intelectual property from scratch!

LSU Global Game Jam 2017, a Huge Success

Global Game Jam Update We are one day away from the 2017 LSU Global Game Jam. There are over 90 people signed up to participate and hope this is our biggest jam to date. We also have Electronic Arts on Friday and High Voltage Games on Saturday with booths for those students who are interested in finding out about jobs in the Video Game Industry.
