RedStick 2018 is proud to welcome Jesse Wang, Esports Evangelist, currently working for HTC. Jesse’s background in esports began with the founding of the first high school esports league in 2011, High School Starleague. He then attended University of California, Irvine, where he served in the gaming club (TAG) and became President by senior year, as well as worked with administrator Mark Deppe to develop the first esports program at a public research university. After graduating, he currently works at HTC as an Esports Marketing Specialist. Jesse's talk Collegiate Esports: First Glance and Insider Perspective will be held on Wednesday, April 25th at LSU's Digital Media Center's theater at 10:00 a.m..
